Good news: My crowns have been approved by the new Canadian Dental Plan.
Bad news: 100% coverage does not actually mean 100%.

You can love someone you love even if you don't love yourself🏳️‍⚧️
But if you love yourself, you can love both yourself and the person you love. Your love becomes twofold.
So take care of yourself.
Your soul is beautiful.

You can’t “try harder” your way out of disability

You can’t “healthy diet” your way out of disability

Many conditions are completely debilitating & the people suffering from them end up disappeared

Non disabled people can’t face the reality of chronic illness, so they choose not too

Realizing that CPTSD and crippling anxiety *are* actually disabilities and that I'm actually doing my best considering the circumstances🫣

When a disabled person talks about their symptoms, the immediate reaction of a lot of people is denial.

They can't imagine or comprehend symptoms like we describe so they don't think it's real, and instead default to thinking we're lying.

But we have to live with it every day.

Did you know the “weekend” and working only 8 hours per day used to be considered a radical, liberal idea?

139 years ago today, in Bay View, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 7 workers (including a 13 yo) lost their lives to advance this revolutionary idea.

A life playing videosgame had me wildly overestimating the amount of times I'd need a hex crank in my day to day life, but I fear that if I leave my hex crank and bolt cutters at home, there's gonna be an inventory puzzle situation where something needs crankin' and I'll be the crankless fool.

I remember being a young man and sometimes going several days at a time without thinking about politics.

I know that was privilege but like… I am allowed to miss it. I wish we could all have that. It was nice.

A solid cooking rule to follow is to remember that when recipes say ‘add two cloves of garlic’, it’s always a misprint and what they actually mean is six.

Just a reminder: having a functional moral compass right now is going to make you feel bad all the time; don’t mistakenly hate yourself for that.

It's come to my attention that some people believe you can't buy a new book until you've read the books you already have. Let me assure you, as both a lawyer and a writer, that this idea is legally and morally WRONG and BAD. Buy more books.

We put it in Tupperware & wait for it to go bad & then we throw it away.

It scares me how culture wars and anti-woke rhetorics have brainwashed gamers to pushed aside the legitimate problems within the modern gaming industry.

I miss the days when everyone was unified against the higher executives and CEOs instead of blaming it on wokeness or DEI.

I truly do not understand people that piss and moan about government programs that assist folks with disabilities or financial woes.

Those are the only things that make me feel good about paying my taxes.
