I enjoyed Moby Dick when I read it as a teen, but the audio version of it was a completely different experience that really solidified the "weird guy at the bar telling you a story" vibe that Melville was going for.

The audiobook debate is remarkably narrow. Reading aloud was a group activity for centuries and I actually argue that people who struggle with classic lit should try an audiobook as it was likely that the original audience enjoyed it aloud.

As much as I LOVE slop (and Timothy Olyphant) the Hitman movie is one of the biggest pieces of dogshit I have ever seen.
