Congratulations on the publication. We will eventually need to care about all viruses to protect our brains.

You know after I saw that T cells dipped due to C19 I said I’m expecting TB prevalence to go up.

Culling the herd. Eugenics through inaction and neglect. Many governments did the math and decided to let people get a novel virus repeatedly until “the weak” were removed (bonus, no need to pay pensions). Not caring that “novel” means unknown. The impact on our young, our future, is incalculable.
Eradicating the Baby Boomer generation provided and continues to provide extensive financial returns. Offering the elderly safety has a negative financial incentive. The UK's politicians have admitted to murder but none of them are facing murder charges.

Anika Wells downplayed rising COVID-19 deaths in aged care, blaming community spread and relaxed lockdowns, shifting focus to residents’ preferences rather than government responsibility.🤦‍♂️

The tragedy of abandoning everyone to take individual precautions is underfunded primary care. Without proper access to physicians there is an escalating and incremental cost when any diagnosis and treatment is delayed, especially #LongCOVID. #PublicHealth #EpiSky

It's not everyone ... but even when a scientist asks to back up a statement of fact, they are:
- not being honest
- seeking to waste time
- debating a position without backing up their position
- without ability to be swayed to consider or accept your position - or they would go find the data.
The problem is you assume they want to "engage and have reals discussions on real issues." They don't. When confronted with facts, data, science, actual laws, and the like, they resort to spewing lies, disinformation and hate.
Some don't want posts like this on @bsky.app. I want more. Why ?

This is a moderated platform. Which means unbridled hate is removed. And blocked.

Making this is a platform where we can engage and have real discussions on real issues.

Respiratory viruses and HCoVs in particular can cause significant accumulation of misfolded proteins in the immuno-naïve regions of the CNS. We don't have a cure for #Alzheimers because we do not have medicine that resolves these fibrinogen. #LongCOVID causes neuroinflammation.
Blood biomarkers in a middle-aged population suggest that SARS-CoV-2 infection is associated with greater brain β-amyloid plaque accumulation. The findings published in Nature Medicine suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may increase the risk of future Alzheimer’s disease. #Medsky 🧪

Does this still occur often here?
Being blocked for challenging an incorrect statement by Edward Nirenberg that H5N1 is not neuroinvasive and the study didn't perform a neurological assessment?
The rest of your assessment was fine Edward.
Sorry if pointing out that neuroinvasive cannot be deduced from this study - to counter the decades of other evidence supporting H5N1 neuroinvasive research in humans - has upset you.
