Unclear who I am supposed to root for in the battle to buy Warner Brothers Discovery and the HBO where I have made am home for 25 years. But if PBS wants to check the sofas again for change and make the high bid, I might have a near-even chance of one day filming another television drama.

Bellingcat has geolocated footage of a mass killing outside the recently captured Sudanese city of El Fasher. In the video, which has circulated widely online, RSF commander Abu Lulu can be seen firing his weapon at what appears to be ten unarmed men sitting on the ground. Image: @vantortech

Voter suppression is necessary for minority rule.
Two-thirds of voters at Indiana University Bloomington’s sole on-campus polling site used their university ID to vote last fall.

Indiana banned students from using these IDs for voting this spring.
Indiana Republicans Are Banning Student IDs for Voting
The new restriction, paired with Indiana’s stringent voter ID rules, is poised to make it much harder for many young people to vote in a state that already ranks near-last in turnout.

Roma tomato harvesters at work. The bins are stacked 3 high to protect this delicate produce during transport. This means more climbing & risk for the worker. Romas are smaller & harder to pick so it takes more time to fill each bucket. They earn 89 cents per bucket. #WeFeedYou

Voting.
Also, there's voting, and sometimes, voting
Legit question - what are other options besides mass protest?

You have rightful worries - my rightful worries is that MAGA will not peacefully hand over power via elections. Like you - would love to be proven wrong

Not to mention the catastrophic human hardship they can and will do while in power

Schumer wants us to believe Senate Dems are powerless while literally providing the votes to ensure the GOP agenda goes forward.

If a shutdown was better for Trump, the House GOP wouldn't have passed this CR and the Senate GOP wouldn't vote for it.

Schumer knows that; he's outright lying to us.
Schumer: "For sure, the Republican bill is a terrible option. It is not a clean CR. It is deeply partisan. It doesn't address far too many of this country's needs. But I believe allowing Donald Trump to take even much more power via a government shutdown is a far worse option."
