Good work, Minnesotans!
Resistance 101

People in Minnesota are now using their car key fobs to trigger their car alarms from the safety of their homes when they see ICE walking around.

This is essential reading for everyone
“When he realized an American response would affect his personal financial interests, Trump abandoned any pretense of caring and moved on with his bellicose bluster to attacking Minneapolis.” open.substack.com/pub/noelcasl...
'Cold as ICE'
Folks wonder how Donald Trump could stand there, smiling his empty smile, and accept a Nobel Peace Prize he himself hadn’t won.

Suggestion for those protesting ICE: Instead of raising the middle finger, raise your pinky finger. Because those thugs are engaging in tiny dick action.

Authoritarians don’t need civil war. They just need the fear of it. Armed civilians on the streets shorten that distance fast.

More excessive, performative ICE brutality, this time targeting a photographer. The purpose is to make Americans too afraid to resist the military in their streets. This photo should win the Putlizer.
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

If you see federal agents pulling into your driveway, reporters, power down your electronic devices ASAP.

This is exactly what to do when ICE vehicles get delivered to a site.
Now here's where state/local gov can be the sand in the machine. Demand to see the registration for each vehicle. Lose some of the paperwork. Warn them that license plates must match registration (NO SWAPPING.) Does MA require an emissions test? Windows tinted too dark? Derail disrupt delay

1/2 🧵Tell an authoritarian how much you hate him, and he gets a surge of energy, and comes at you even stronger.

Publicly ridicule him...and laugh at him, it's like you wield a magical power.

Humiliation destabilizes authoritarians by stripping status...without triggering fear.

In the budget discussions, Dems should refuse to fund ICE unless agents can’t wear masks, they must identify themselves and must read people their Miranda rights. Even with these conditions, ICE funding should be limited to border operations.

Stop further shootings.

Repost if you agree. #BlueCrew

Here is a (likely incomplete) list of apps that are enabling ICE to track your smartphone's location.

Yeesh I hate being repetitive, and yet...

It's time once again to remind my fellow Americans that there is no mechanism whereby state run elections can be suspended or canceled by the federal government. None. So don't go along with any garbage you hear to that effect. Laugh, and get ready to vote.

Every Republican denied Trumps election loss to Biden in 2020.
And denied it on the House floor.
Under sworn testimony. Don't forget.
Vote them out! All of them deserve
to be voted out of office!

“The three most important days in American history since the Civil War have been: Dec 7, 1941. Sept. 11. And Jan. 6. We don’t use years for the last two. They aren’t dates on a calendar; they are scar tissue.” Spot on, Rep. Swalwell. Eric hits this one on the nose.

Opinion | I gaveled in Congress on Jan. 6. We can never stop looking back at what happened.
Rep. Eric Swalwell: By claiming that Jan. 6 was “a day of love,” Trump is attempting to gaslight our nation on an industrial scale.

I will never forget watching this live on TV for as long as I live. We knew at the time that it had been planned, to push the Big Lie, but now we know more--that Trump paid for the buses and accommodations for the insurrectionists, and later pardoned them after all the work of prosecuting them.

Trump openly frames military force as a commercial acquisition tool. You can’t credibly argue limited self defense, LE action, narrow authorization, or emergency necessity while simultaneously describing infrastructure takeover, profit generation, corporate involvement, and follow-on strikes.
Trump: "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure and start making money for the country. And we are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so."

Driving past Walden Pond in Concord, MA, today, I saw a hockey game in progress on the frozen surface. I grinned at the sight of innocent fun. I had not seen the news yet. Now that I have, all thoughts of innocent fun are gone and now I'm embroiled in the WTAF all thinking people are feeling today.

The man himself.
Smith: He was getting calls from people he trusts, people he relies on—and he still refused to come to the aid of the people at the Capitol. That’s very important evidence for criminal intent in our case.
