It's a terrible idea for the BPs to do this. Trump is itching to invoke martial law and could take armed resistance, even if it's branded as protection, as his excuse.

I know they can do a lot of harm until then. But the states run elections, including federal ones. They're not for Trump to allow or disallow. And though the GOP will cheat and suppress the vote every way it can, I think the midterms will be held.

The party that is against all this is out of power. Trump's party is in power in Congress. That makes changing things nearly impossible--until this November's elections.
