before/after – the transformation of downtown Halifax over the course of the Cogswell Interchange redevelopment project, nearing completion this year
A little before/after action for the Cogswell project. Looking from partway up Cogswell Street towards the Marriott (which could just barely be seen before). Surprisingly I was able to stand in basically the same spot.

LONDON (Reuters) - British house prices dropped unexpectedly last month for the first time since March although they finished the year higher than in December 2023, figures from mortgage lender Halifax showed on Tuesday. Halifax, part of Lloyds Banking Group (LON:), Britain's biggest mortgage lender, said house prices fell 0.2% in December after a 1.2% rise in November, and were 3.3% higher on the year - lower than the 4.2% rise forecast in a Reuters poll of economists.

Big moment. Apparently no Musk money for Reform. At least while Farage is leader.

Republicans suck! What kind of political party bans books, arrests journalists, tries to make it harder for citizens to vote, cheers on rioters attacking police, threatens election officials and elected representatives?

Would be great to know if @nigelfaragemp.bsky.social and Reform agree with this stance

Yeah, good plan.
