At the start of the story, Celecia lives alone in an apartment, but she eventually ends up rooming with a warden, due to constantly breaking the law, but being needed in society.
She isn't happy where she is, which is basically what happens at the start of the story / her goal of leaving Luxandria.

In Alistavia, the tech-giants control access to magical coding, making it illegal for the general public. I'm still deciding if this magic can be created by anyone or if it's just an incredibly secretive/difficult art.

Today's art adventure: pixel art!
I grew up on old school video games (mostly SNES era) and pixel art makes me feel a lot of things. Joy. Nostalgia. Peace. This was my first time trying it and I'm quite pleased with the results!

Pointed Ears, Glowing Gems, Glowing Architecture, but most of all, just being trapped in night time. I have lore for them, BUT I JUST LOVE THE AESTHETIC + MOODS IT BRINGS!

Celecia's main color scheme is basically blue/white. It's more for symbolic reasons to appear more uhh "pure" I guess because she THINKS she's a good person, even though she's not LOL
Other than that, her fashion right now is to make her feel confident, since she grew up having to cover up a lot.

I'm trying so hard to do this, but it's so painful, because I want to get to the "Good stuff" too, but I know the good stuff won't work unless there's good foundation.
Has anyone else written their WIP in chronological order? Like start to finish?
This is the first one I've done this way. No skipping ahead to the "good stuff".
Doesn't stop my outline getting ruined every day when characters change the plot without permission. 😄

Personally the "Mother Goddess" trope, because I just can't really see it being part of my universe, or any "God of creation" type of being.
