Hinckley Point C nuclear power station is over budget by tens of billions of pounds and still has no start date.

Now #Starmer wants to push for unproven, future nuclear technology, instead of advocating for cheaper, well established renewables?

This government has lost its way

We're seeing a toxic surge of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric on GB News. This is what advertisers such as Sky are enabling.

If Ofcom continues failing to enforce its own rules, then MPs need to step in and hold it to account.

Just reading (belatedly) Rory Stewart's book about his walk through the mountains of central Afghanistan in 2002.

What an incredible human being. Highly recommended

"One of the great tragedies of mankind is that morality has been hijacked by religion. So now people assume that religion and morality have a necessary connection. But the basis of morality is really very simple and doesn't require religion at all."

Do you think you're sitting still right now?

- You're on a planet that orbitis a star at 30km/s

- That star is orbiting the center of a galaxy at 230km/s

- That galaxy is moving trough the universe at 600km/s.

Since you started reading this, you have traveled about 3000km.

This is a terrible example of "party brain" at work.

The question isn't "how do you beat Reform?" - which would be a wholly illegitimate way to make this decision.

It's "how do we stop foreign (& indeed domestic) money from subverting our democracy?"

That's much bigger than the fate of one party

My son's friend, a relatively wealthy Columbian university lecturer, who owns several properties in Bogota, has been refused a family visa to enter the UK.

He just wanted to take his grownup kids to see Europe before they move out and start their own lives.

They are now going to Paris instead.

Until abortion is legal in every state, lets require men to get a mandatory vasectomy until they are proven emotionally mature, financially responsible and ready to be a father.
Wait, what do you mean regulations on men's bodies make you uncomfortable?

I for one am amazed that Keir Starmer, five months after winning a 170 seat majority, has not called a fresh election after acceding to a random petition. Shameful stuff. www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/keir-s...
