If you think fictional depictions of morally dubious sexuality is bad then you aren't allowed to say violence in media is fine. If one fictional depiction is bad, then they all are. You aren't allowed to pick and choose based on what makes you feel icky.

It's hard to feel sorry for you Geoff when you use your show to ask for pity while you still ignore systemic issues in games and even kowtow to the people in games who abuse others and look the other way.

yeah the harsh reality is that we do take a chance on small games no one's heard of a lot more often than anyone thinks we do. but literally no one reads the articles, which then reinforces to the powers that be that they're not worth doing. I don't know how to solve that problem!
I've been doing this all year but indie journalists have the same issues as indie games. Unless it's a big name, nobody cares.

yeah the harsh reality is that we do take a chance on small games no one's heard of a lot more often than anyone thinks we do. but literally no one reads the articles, which then reinforces to the powers that be that they're not worth doing. I don't know how to solve that problem!

Arc Raiders is pretty good proof that for all the bluster gamers gave off about AI, at the end of the day they don't care as long as a streamer tells them it's okay. It was never an ethics problem but a PR one.

Even with Kimmel being reinstated, you should still refuse to buy anything Disney. They won't hesitate to harm if it means they make an extra buck. Don't reward them for doing the bare minimum.

It's a little too late for gamers to be mad about censorship since they've spent the last 15 years legitimizing the same conservative voices that are doing the censoring.
