They have disguised fascist nihilism--where truth cannot be distinguished from falsehood--as postmodernism for many years

When I was a child my pastor suggested God may have created the earth with dinosaur bones and made it look like it had formed naturally to test people's faith
You can disagree and argue as much as you like but the point of evaluating something scientifically is that not every statement should be given equal credence because evidence matters
JD Vance: "Science as practiced in its best form is that if you disagree with it, then you ought to criticize it and you ought to argue against it."

One problem I have with Pluribus is that the signal originates from a system 600 light years away. That means the aliens must have detected us at least 1200 years ago, when the Vikings were raiding England

We were not producing many radio signals then

Amelia Earhart landed on Epstein's Island. The answer to her mysterious disappearance can be found in the Epstein files
I am absolutely 100% not going to get sucked into some "what happened to Amelia Earhart, there was a cover-up" discussion.

If you know anything about aviation in that period, then you know this was a pilot error accident. A lot of pilots died in that era. There is no mystery.

Let. It. Go.

Since there is no relief from the press, or the courts, or the house, or the senate, or any other institution, at least we have time on our side to help end the horror we are experiencing now

Every crazy thing going on now, from giving Alaska to Putin, to our military pointlessly patrolling the already peaceful streets of DC, is simply to distract from Trump not willing to release the Epstein files

Physicists are constantly contacted by kooks who have never studied physics but have somehow had an insight that disproves general relativity or the standard model and solves everything without any math or the need for experimental measurement
My god these guys are such spectacular morons

I looked it up. This Salmon is $200 per serving. When it's actually cost effective outside of being a millionaire lemme know. People always present this bullshit as the solution to farm raised meat and it's NEVER as close as the hype says it is.
Lab-grown salmon cleared for sale in the United States. Wildtype’s 'cultured' salmon is made in a lab from a few cells. In May 2025, the FDA approved Wildtype’s salmon for commercial sale, paving the way for the world’s first commercial sales of cell-based seafood. buff.ly/yJiHfus

This sounds great! Like self-driving cars! or AGI! or my magic computer coins that will only go up in value!

Sadly, this is impossible to do at scale. It is too difficult to reproduce all the other organs that go into an animal that enable it to grow muscle in a meat vat

This will cost $10k / lb

Maybe you could help me with these, Mr. Singularity, because I am having a hard time finding it in any books, no matter how many hours I spend reading them: How many rocks should I eat a day? What's the best way to stop the cheese from sliding off pizza?

Fwiw arstechnica did a better write up of what he believes and it's more fucked up and more clearly based in eugenics

He says it's miasma theory but in classic RFK Jr. fashion he defines it wrong. It would actually be better if he believed in miasma theory than his actual beliefs imho

I know a lot of folks like this account. But this is a wild, and unhelpful, exaggeration--it's a resistance version of sean spicer. It veers into #resistanceporn and trades accuracy for clout, like other "blue maga" grifters on here. Pls consider finding other sources of inspiration/news/motivation

While helping out on a cool genomics project recently, I came to realise I’d been taught a pretty big inaccuracy about the events that occur at fertilization. I suspect that almost everyone reading this has the same misapprehension, so let’s do some learning together: 1/
