was entirely predictable.

If Richard Burgon isn’t in the right party, then neither is Keir Starmer. The real issue right now is that Labour, despite holding a huge majority, is letting a party with four MPs call the shots. Starmer needs to stop pandering and start standing up for democracy and liberal values.

In 2024-25 HMRC wrote-off £7.2bn of tax.

Main reason is UK insolvency law.

Since 2003, HMRC has been an unsecured creditor for taxes owed by companies such as corporation and capital gains tax.

Billions lost. Public purse pays subsidies, employment & other benefits.

An utter disgrace on Labour and the UK press. I wonder why this is? I seems to me Labour has a death wish on itself and letting the Farage brigade rule the waves.
Now Gibraltar has won its way back into Schengen and a customs deal with more access than before Brexit, while the rest of us are stuck with queues, red tape and decline.

And where’s the UK press? Silent.

Once again it’s Washington Post exposing Brexit.
