Hello gorgeous new followers.

Just some housekeeping. Love that you like my updates enough to follow. I'm here for laughs, chat and pals, so will follow back based on interaction.

Feel free to say hi!

I don't bite unless requested. 😘
I bloody love doing a disability studies masters. Twice weekly sessions dissecting how spectacularly weird the normies are, and how painfully oblivious they are to it, but with big words.

Very cathartic. Better than therapy.

Graeme Hart, 57, believes autism is a horrific scourge on humanity – but that there’s no reason for you, an autistic person, to be so uncivil about it.
“We can disagree and stay friends” says man who thinks you should be eugenicsed out of existence
A man who believes you can disagree on politics and “still love each other” also believes scientists should find out what caused you so someone like you never happens again, and you, personally,…

Tonight's menu at Pete's is spiced parsnip soup...

My entire personality for the next 20 minutes will be bawdy tavern wench.

Um. The music in the pub went off a while ago, nobody is here and I haven't seen the bar person in quite some time...

...it's happened... I've died, haven't I?

Oof. Today has been a challenge.

And also, how do I get out of the habit of reflex apologising when I'm not the one being the dick?! 😂

The hair today is giving 'thatch'.

Later I'll adorn with a straw pheasants and invite some jackdaws to roost.

Morning beauts 😘

Kinda waiting for Melania to drop a West End Girl style album.

Was reading some interesting studies over the weekend about how autistic people trade speed for accuracy because we tend to want to take in more information thus leading to better results than non-autistic people, but it was STILL framed in stigmatizing language. Like WHAT?! 🤣

Too late to call a general strike for tomorrow?

I fancy a lie in but don't wanna have to bother calling in sick.

I really like Daisy May Cooper's work, and I find this show with her brother utterly charming... Plus 👻... Plus this one was filmed just down the road from my home town. Drive past this place all the time. Wholesome content.

Daisy May and Charlie Cooper stay overnight in a reportedly haunted 16th-century pub in the Midlands, but will they need a drink or two to make it to the morning?

Super interesting thread. It's something I've been musing about myself - the route out of now. How can we effectively de-radicalise 1/3 of the population? Is shame an avenue? Should we aim for understanding or are we past that?

What do you think?
I’m not sure why bigots do it? One writes a factual thread about persecution of trans ppl. It’s clear it’s based on reality & proves that by including a few sample references. Then some troglodyte [who is not a mutual] rocks along to tell you, you are wrong - based on their views, not facts.

So, one of the jobs I've been doing to get me through the last few months of my degree is basic admin for asylum seeker casework, and let me tell you that the things these people have been through are horrific, and words can't describe my contempt for Labour.
