I know this is news to exactly no one but I am amazed at how much healthier I am just not being on social media and not constantly exposed to "you're ugly, but here's how to fix it!" ads and my peers bickering over stupid shit and 24/7 nsfw that I CANNOT filter out and shitty news all day long

Yesterday several friends came over for some hours and yapped about our shared hyperfixation while I sat at a sewing machine pinning and sewing together a big goofy dragon arm for them
Finally figured out what I was missing before -- I needed this feeling of community + actual belonging so much

Sometimes I get overwhelmed and feel like I'm just too tired to go on, and then I remember that there is absolutely no fucking way they will not re-release Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns during my lifetime (might even let me be gayer?!) and I tighten my grip on the handrail ever so slightly
