Sigh. Nostalgic side note: Kids these days will never know the joy that was hamster dance. Also, pasta dot com used to bring you to a page with a dancing pasta noodle singing about different ways to cook pasta while it danced the macarena. All these memories, lost like tears in the rain.

Ginkgo Leaf Drop Day - the few days when all the ginkgo trees in an area turn color and drop their leaves - has arrived in the Bluegrass about 2 weeks late. This modifies my previous observation that daylength was the controlling factor to say that daylength plus temperature are factors. Happy GLDD!
