Years ago we were told that TikTok belonged to the CCP and that they were using it to spy on and manipulate Americans, who continued to become addicted to it and politicians used it to produce content for their campaigns anyway. Can someone explain why TikTok still exists? What is the issue here?

It was obvious to anybody who followed the campaign that it was all bullshit. My guess is that most people who voted are addicted to drugs, TikTok, and reality TV, and didn't really think too hard about it because their eggs cost seven bucks and they think the POTUS is really just a chicken farmer.
