BREAKING: The Senate has today backed my motions to establish two new inquiries into the costs and impacts of Labor’s aged care reforms.
The reforms, which took effect on Saturday, are bad news for older people and their families. The government needs to be held accountable.

🚨 BREAKING: Brand new @ACOSS report finds 1 in 7 Australians are living in poverty, including 757,000 children. Millions of families are struggling while our leaders sit on their hands and let it happen.
DEWR sought an assurance report on the Targeted Compliance Framework. They got it. It told them clearly that the TCF could NOT be assured. And yet the government continues to administer this unlawful system so it can suspend income support payments for bullshit reasons.

Stop ‘rationing’ aged care and end the wait lists - that’s what a majority of Senators in our Aged Care Inquiry have agreed to work towards.

As a Gladstone local, I know the closure of the Power Station in '29 would be a big change, but it’s also a chance to build the clean energy industries our city and state need.
We need a community-led energy transition plan - something the Greens have been calling for for years.
