I'm the mosaic cat on Twitter.

I hate that that sentence makes sense.
I know I was born and raised to be a cynic, but it's just blustering. Beyond taking over the Fed, this administration can and will be allowed to do whatever it wants.
Some pushback. They’ll keep thinking they can do anything they want to do until lots of people tell them they can’t.

God is like a cat hunting in the savanna; He grips by the throat those whom He chooses until all struggle has stopped.

I've been listening to chrismas-themed jazz for 3 hours on a loop, and I'm starting to understand how Noriega felt.

I would totally get a modern take on an armored carriage. My dictatorial vibe would definitely be steampunk.

I hope at least once in my life that I have as much courage to do what's right as Ruby Bridges did.
65 years ago on Nov. 14, little Ruby Bridges was escorted into an all-white elementary school in New Orleans. Norman Rockwell, renowned for blissful depictions of Americana, did this remarkable painting for Look magazine. Printed as a double page, over-size spread, it's his masterpiece.

My honest prediction of L'affaire Epstein is that it will keep popping up over the next three years, and the Administration will keep doing something crazy and/or violent to change the subject. The scandal will never go away, but it won't be fatal either.

One of the striking things in Epstein's emails is how fucking inarticulate he is, and how *every other billionaire is just as bad at communicating*.

They're the exact textual equivalents of any interview with Altman or Musk or Thiel etc just fucking babbling incoherent word salad.

Is there anything that clinicians DON'T recommend CBT for? It seems like the psych field's solution to everything.

This is my only statement on the matter.

How about quoting to him the opening line of Costica Bradatan's new book *In Praise of Failure*: "From God's point of view the existence of the world is an embarassment."

My friend who recently converted to Christianiry because it was "spiritual CrossFit" told me the other day that I "have to admit that the world and the people in it are more good than bad."

I literally didn't know what to say.

I've been thinking about it today, and it's amazing how much my view of God and the cosmos was shaped by the Book "The Runaway Bunny."

An acquaintance of mine, who grew up pretty ignorant of any religion, apparently converted to Christianity because he needed to "work on forgiveness and loving everyone" and "that's what Christianity is all about."

Oh you sweet, sweet summer child.

It is amazing how far the Overton Window has shifted.

His *defense* is that he's accepting large, cash donations from unnamed wealthy people to build a monument to his own memory.

Now every time I see that damn Ballroom, I'm going think "Uday Hudsein running a Ramada Inn."
I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.
