It's the 31 Days of Archiveween! Every day I share a scary alter from the archives until you beg me to stop (I will never stop).

Today's Archiveween post is Path to Exile, from art by Sam Smith for the Criterion release of Nobuhiko Obayashi's "House" (1977)

I love life hack videos in which the "easy trick" is way more time and effort then just buying something at a store. "There's no reason to ever buy honey again, just use this one trick to get all the honey you'll ever need" All you got to do is spend lots time and money getting into bee keeping!

Did you know someone reverse-engineered the Weather Channel computer system from the 80s/90s and now you can generate your own private weather channel for your location?

What I like about role-playing games is that they allow you to act out power fantasies that you could never achieve in real life.

Growing up I really thought nicknames would be a bigger part of my adult life. Every show and movie I watched as a kid had a character named "Spud" or "Spike" or something. But now as an adult I call 99% of my friends and family by their given names, and I'm so disappointed.

I'm not much of a sports fan, but even I found this genuinely thrilling.
Here's the last 40 seconds of Bulls/Lakers. Insane ending.

The reason I went back to making Balatro 3 months after I essentially gave it up in March 2022 was because I was bored but the internet was out so I couldn't play Rocket League

I think it's actually kind of cute that the new robot vacuum I got mistook a full length mirror for a door to another room.

One time when we were at the beach my mom got everyone shirts that said "BEACH PLEASE" on them. However, she didn't understand the pun. She just thought it was a polite request for some beach.
