What a song!!
20 December 1968 - Glen Campbell topped the US album chart with 'Wichita Lineman'. Although the LP would stay in the chart for 46 weeks, it would be Campbell's only No.1 album. The title track which was written by US songwriter Jimmy Webb, reached No 3 on the US singles chart. #GlenCampbell

1. Thread about rights demoralisers on BlueSky and X 🧵

Hybrid warfare isn’t tanks or missiles.

It’s psychological.

In the UK, one of its most effective targets has been the Brexit debate, especially citizens’ rights and Freedom of Movement — because they go to identity, belonging, and fairness.

"Reviled" by the "woke left"... but treated like fools by the hate-generators at the Telegraph, Mail, Sun and Express. Allison was praying for the amrkets to ruin our economy as punishment for Reeve's budget... whereas they appear to rather like it. She's an agent provocateur removed from reality.
If we lose an imaginary war with Russia, Gary Lineker and the woke left will be to blame - well that's a perfectly sane take Allison

In case you missed yesterday’s review, the Dutch are at it again
Today's review covers THE CURSED MILL (1909), a French film shot in Belgium about sexual jealousy, murder, and windmills among the Dutch.

The ending was deemed too much for America and was cut by a New York censor board.
