NEW: In response to the latest Trump tariffs, the Chinese government announces they will increase tariffs on all US goods from 34% to 84%.

Things are spiralling out of control quickly. The two economic superpowers are violently unstitching their economic relationship day by day.
In proper full on (potentially doomloop) trade war territory now. Trump saying that unless China withdraws its retaliatory tariffs US will impose *another* 50% tariff over and above what Trump has already announced.
