I’m really tired of this moment where South Park roasting a fascist is somehow indicative of a victory against tyranny. It’s not.

Saying mean things about the guy’s junk is probably only going to encourage the audience to say further mean things about people they don’t like.

i genuinely think the smart political move is for biden to hold a rally tomorrow where he taunts trump and says america will not have a felon for president.
At some point Democratic elected officials will notice that when Donald Trump has a personal setback the majority of the population literally celebrates in the street, I hope.

The two most prominent faces of modern conservatism are both billionaires with crippling debts & unhealthy lifestyles, who live in perpetual fear of total personal collapse, & imagine their crisis is the nation's.
It’s a good thing Elon took over Twitter so that the public can be confident that it will remain strictly neutral politically.

At this point, we have to recognize that people's problem with basic income or checks of any kind is that they obviously work.
Fresh basic income pilot results, this time from Arlington, Virginia where 200 people got $500 a month for 2 years. The findings:

Employment INCREASED by 16%, and their incomes from paid work INCREASED by 37%. The control group saw no such gains.

I'm glad the Harvard School of Public Health has put this back up:

Conclusions:

1. The majority of "self defense" reports aren't anything of the sort and are, in fact, cases of illegal brandishing.

2. The most common use of a firearm is to intimidate.
Gun Threats and Self-Defense Gun Use
1-3. Guns are not used millions of times each year in self-defense We use epidemiological theory to explain why the “false positive” problem for rare events can lead to large overestimates of the ...

US COVID SHOTS ARE FREE.

Please do not let Walgreens and CVS mislead you or your family members or neighbors about this! They are the biggest part of the federal bridge (free shots for uninsured people) program, but the rollout’s logistics have been a little scattered and you may get pushback.
PSA: the CDC has a program that pays for your COVID vaccine if your insurer won't. The guy at CVS told me that my insurer had not added the new vaccine to its formulary yet, so I'd need to pay $190. I told him about this program, showed him the website, and paid nothing. 🤗
