I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Esraa. Esraa was a student and her husband was a hairdresser prior to this. They have three small children Muhammad, 8, Maryam, 5 and Adam, 2. They lost their home, places of work and their cat Katie. Little Adam also broke his hand.

During this visit to my GP clinic, I had a definite exposure. I know this because an obviously sick patient with a characteristic cough walked right up to me and asked me, 'is this the Covid clinic'?

NAAT testing today was negative. Masks work.
For an illness that's allegedly just another respiratory disease now, I was quite astonished to see a dedicated (and signposted) 'Covid Clinic' waiting room at my GP clinic today, and all of the pharmacy staff masked.
