Incredibly, red states keep finding new ways to fall behind while blue states route around the damage that comes from MAGA policies.

Em dashes are cool
The em dash supposedly being a “tell” for AI generated text does sort of give away the game on the enormous amount of work stolen from journalists and news organizations that these things were trained on
For my first @salonnewsroom.bsky.social piece, I wrote about how freaks for the em dash (me, and possibly you) will not stand by and cede our precious punctuation to AI www.salon.com/2025/06/11/a...

Filmland 9 year old bourbon: Sweet, lightly smoky with a sharp alcohol notes up front. Dark fruit and a dry spice on the finish that doesn’t linger. Okay pour, not worth the price. Snazzy label and branding

Because "vouchers" aren’t intended to "cover" the cost. They subsidize private schools, allowing them to increase their tuition faster than the subsidies grow. This is what happened in other states. You need to call them subsidies, not vouchers. Vouchers sounds nice but it’s false.
