The graph is garbage, but to me the interesting thing is that I’m old enough to remember when leftists who focused on relative incomes were accused by the right of “the politics of envy”

literally the only time trump has been asked a question about his actual management of the country during his term was by a voter at the univision forum. the press is completely disinterested.
"the Trump administration was good times before the current bad times" is a consciously undertaken propaganda campaign that the media started waging while Trump was still President. Even stories about his scandals invariably included to-be-sure paragraphs praising his "booming economy"
I don’t have any memory of the Trump administration being a good time. And I think I have a pretty detailed memory from the inauguration crowd photos freak out and the travel bans all the way through the pandemic and January 6th.
