Powerful speech by @naheednenshi.bsky.social defending trans and human rights (2:54 of video).

UCP MLA Getson replied with U.S. talking points including ‘founding fathers’, Charlie Kirk and judicial enemies. (4:24)

The agitprop is in the house.

This is why the progressive left in Canada needs to care a hell of a lot more about national security and defense than they currently do.

We purport to care about health care. We need to be serious about the full range of threats to public services.

Unbelievable. Chills.

Tens of thousands of teachers converging downtown just outside where Danielle Smith is addressing an audience.

I’ve never seen anything like this.

Time to listen up, Premier.

Time for a fair deal.

We stand with teachers.

The Alberta UCP never campaigned on denying health care for trans youth. Doctors warn these laws will drive up depression and suicide. Now they’re hiding behind the notwithstanding clause.

No mandate.

Predictable harm.

Extraordinary abuse of power.

Nope. Canadians don’t want provincial politicians denying human rights on a whim or to please MAGA.

For example, withholding healthcare for AB trans youth was not in the 2023 UCP campaign platform.

Please support your local teachers.
When I was a kid, the dedicated teachers at St. Rose School in Edmonton showed up every day to set my peers and I up for success.

A few weeks ago, I had the chance to go back and thank the teachers doing the same for the next generation #WorldTeachersDay.
