My eyes bugged out when he said he was learning about the separation of our three branches of government from mentors and good people. Mentioned our “founding fathers”. Charlie Kirk as well.

Or Nenshi @ 2:54 instead 🙂

Albertans may be excused for not remembering these shameful, dangerous, discriminatory initiatives in the UCP campaign platform, because they weren’t.

There is absolutely NO mandate for these bills in AB, never mind for preemptive use of the NWC.

Sorry, but this video is full of misinformation and needlessly inflammatory language (hallmarks of fascism, btw). Just to summarize, I would support FN nixing the project if that’s their decision, and I support foreign investment to fund sovereignty-enhancing projects and reduce taxpayer risk.

Sorry for the delay, got sidetracked. I’m not quite seeing it though. The LNG facilities (pending FN approval) would avoid the U.S. altogether. The U.S. investment? Allowed, if compliant, pre- and post budget. Also, it amends the previous Build Canada bill to further emphasize climate, so bonus.

I see it as a pragmatic budget, intended to protect Canada’s sovereignty. That’s what I voted for. As far as I’m concerned, in 2025, the only political distinction that matters is authoritarian vs democratic.

I hope so, and I have advised his office that am one among a multitude of his constituents who would fully support the move.
