Watching what was lined up for last night before the sickness kicked in.
I hate it. I feel like it’s giving the same feeling I get watching a cringe comedy, that feeling of wanting to crawl out of my skin. I can handle the violence and gore but my god I wanted this film to end.

A great folk horror double feature would be pairing this with November. They both veer from gritty realism to magical realism with aplomb.
Just watched The Outcasts for the first time, and it's wonderful. I'm so glad this movie is being sort of rediscovered and gaining a wider audience. Bleak and magical in equal measures.
