i'm actually really curious about the origin of the 'safe by design' stuff in the uk - not just hostile anti-homeless architecture, but police telling building developers they're not allowed to have overhangs to keep people out of the rain, or shrubbery, because this causes 'antisocial behaviour'

Concerning that @ukhouseoflords.bsky.social has voted to exclude even more student tenancies from protections in the Bill - this could also create loopholes leaving non-students with less protection too.

All renters - whether they are students or not - should benefit from secure tenancies.
