😆 Freedom of Movement would help.
It'd also help with extra needed "50,000" customs agents & 1000s of customs officers, vets, port health & other regulatory body inspectors ..But if had the return of FoM (& a CU) these would *not* be needed. Go figure 🤔

There's a new craze in bookshops around the UK...

...namely placing Boris Johnson's new memoir next to other books on lying and/or Brexit damage - or even alongside toilet paper and cat litter...

Enjoy the pics! 👇

Kemi Badenoch tells Keir Starmer that "we had a Budget in March this year and tractors were not blockading the streets of Whitehall afterwards."

Anyway, here's the 'go slow' protest by farmers that blockaded the streets around Parliament following the Conservative Government's last Budget in March

Both in the news today for differing reasons. Michael Sheen who remortgaged his house to fund the Homeless World Cup, Jeremy Clarkson who bought a farm to evade tax.

Jeremy Clarkson, who owes his fame & fortune in large part to the BBC, sneers at the brilliant @vicderbyshire.bsky.social for being ‘classic BBC’ when she uses *his own words* to describe his position.
“So it’s not about you, it’s not about your farm and the fact you bought a farm to avoid inheritance tax?”

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social speaks to Jeremy Clarkson at the farmers’ protest in Westminster where thousands of farmers are protesting the government’s inheritance tax plans.

It's been snowing in the UK and the road gritters are out in force, begging the question:
Have you ever wondered where that grit actually COMES from?
The answer is more magical, beautiful and fascinating than you probably realised.

Please spare a thought for James Dyson, the Brexit-voting billionaire who bought up 33,000 acres of farmland to avoid tax then moved his business to Singapore. He's the real victim here.

The protestors want to call it "the tractor tax" because calling it "the inheritance tax protest" would turn off public opinion.

The tractors coming into London today, in fact, pay no road tax, no congestion charge, and no ULEZ.

Exempt from all.

A pre-emptive block is in order. There's no earthly reason why you need to subject yourself to his cesspit outpourings.

So head over to @nigelfarage-mp.bsky.social and slam that Block button. You'll never see him again.

Won't that be a relief?

McFascist burgers all around!

Also, the irony of the incoming Health Secretary who is terrified of vaccines because, well, ingredients, scoffing something that is 100% synthetic and only technically edible is quite the show of just how firm his beliefs must be.
