This week I had the luck to be part of a group that documented what may be an Erie County Ohio first, a Limpkin(Aramus guarauna)! These snail specialists' range normally doesn't extend much further North than Florida, but their range is expanding rapidly!

This Red-shouldered Hawk(Buteo lineatus) landed on a branch just on the other side of a tree from me. I had been standing still, so it must not have noticed me until I turned. It quickly locked on to me as I snapped this shot!

This is basically making it so trans people who were adopted and had their birth records sealed cannot obtain a passport at all. This will also ensnare cis people who were adopted and have clerical errors on their records or are suspected of being trans.

Passport denial saying I need to send - Early Public records that show your name and sex at time of your birth. Your biological sex at birth is not clear from the documents you submitted. Examples of early public records include the following items, if issued near the time if your birth: -Medical records -Hospital birth records -Religious records -Early school records -Any documents created at or near the date of your birth

Doesn't seem like they have the authority to prohibit this. The equal treatment rule in the Fed Register (part b) only pertains to accepting coupons (i.e EBT payments) at different prices. Nothing about the prohibition applying to a family participating in SNAP but paying entirely in non-EBT funds.
CFR Subsection 278.2 part (b): Equal treatment for coupon customers. Coupons shall be accepted for eligible foods at the same prices and on the same terms and conditions applicable to cash purchases of the same foods at the same store except that tax shall not be charged on eligible foods purchased with coupons. However, nothing in this part may be construed as authorizing FNS to specify the prices at which retail food stores may sell food.

When we have a Congressional majority that is actually in Congress there really needs to be a root and branch rewriting of privacy laws, data and digital rights. The Privacy Act was written in 1974, and has been continuously ignored by the Trump admin.

All a straight white man has to do is grow a beard and put on jeans and flannel, and voila: he has automatic Blue Collar Credibility, even if he actually grew up with a trust fund.

ONY white males get the Assumed Blue Collar nod simply by putting on an outfit, too. Doesn’t work for anyone else.
