This was pretty much my exact feelings watching it as well.
I watched KPop Demon Hunters, just to be in the know… It was OK, some of it was beautiful, I dug a few songs, it was fun & propulsive. But it also felt a bit hollow compared to similar movies & abandoned the one potentially interesting theme 3/4 of the way in… a bit of a letdown
