Is it just me or am I seeing celebrities recently using this has an excuse for behaviour in a hope people will feel sorry for them or something?!

I actually feel kinda sad for people who don't play video games, or in rare cases, have NEVER played one and don't want to.
Nothing wrong with that, but they are missing out on the best entertainment medium on the planet.
I guess I just can't imagine my life without video games.

A week later and I can't recall a more unifying event for cinephiles than the death of David Lynch; it feels like this democratizing force that stopped everyone in their tracks regardless of what they watch, how they watch it, etc. The collective mourning as tribute felt like a gain, not a loss.
