Super interested in what happens to laws that regulate broadly and have an AI-regulating component (e.g., any privacy law). I presume that companies are going to argue that they should not be applicable to any system that uses automated decision making in some way...which would be wildly disruptive.
Buried in the tax bill: "no State or political subdivision thereof may enforce any law or regulation regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems during the 10-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act."

He was reportedly detained for hours until he was eventually released.
