There’s this cute and friendly trans girly who works at a store nearby me. Every time I’m there, I make a point of telling her that I like her makeup, hair, fit, etc. She lights up every time 🥹 Also have been subtly dropping hints about my own identity lol

If the civil rights movement "met people where they're at" there'd still be whites-only water fountains. The only rights it would have secured is voting, certainly not banning housing discrimination or legalizing interracial marriage.
It definitely is a purity test because everyone does has rights but the Trans issue (as far as sports,etc) is still extremely unpopular and isn't supported by majority of Americans (both parties).
