I mentioned to friends after the election I was afraid the new admin was going to strip mine this country for all its monetary resources then abandon the carcass & move on. And everyone said, “no, but capitalism”. You think these billionaires give a shit about anyone else’s wealth in this country?

I’m still convinced that TFG is Heritage Foundations’ useful idiot. They let him bring his base to win the election and then go out there and implement all kinds of fuckery and some day when his usefulness (polling/dementia) is up, they’ll “save” us from him (25th/XX). Until then, this is by design.

I would caution people to stop relying on the Constitution as written to have any meaning other than what the people Trump put on the Supreme Court says it means.
"He can't do that" is not a useful response to the things he's going to do. The correct response is "Will the Court uphold that?"

Trump cannot abrogate birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment by way of executive order. That’s not how constitutional rights work.
