Just want to remind y'all that boundaries are healthy. We're NOT obligated to give our time & energy to people who vote against clean air, public health & ed, immigrants, body autonomy, etc, or to listen as they call us the enemy within, demons, groomers, & worse and threaten us.

And this should go without saying, but I guess it doesn't: You can and should deplore political violence, which is both unacceptable on its own AND because it makes us all less safe, but it does not mean that you airbrush a legacy of malice and darkness as a "spirited disagreement." Tell the truth.

I agree this is a moment when we all need to work together in getting the temperature down, but that doesn't mean excusing hate speech. Charlie Kirk did not support free and open debate. He supported engaging in bad faith as a monetization strategy and otherwise suppressing free speech.

The impacts are NOT theoretical….they are happening today. Health care providers are being laid off right now due to Trump’s chaos….and patients in Oregon are suffering.
Republicans passed huge Medicaid cuts & now our members + their patients are paying the price. PeaceHealth just laid off dozens of health professionals, directly blaming federal cuts. This is what happens when politicians put tax breaks for the wealthy over care for families.
