Democrats also desperately need to start giving more young people jobs who didn’t go to Ivy League schools AND don’t have rich and influential parents,
I absolutely do think there’s one key thing Democrats should have learned from MAGAs, and it’s “actually give young people jobs”

It should not be immensely MORE profitable and easy to get a job in government if you’re both stupid and evil.
I think a lot of us hard-working non-evil people who found it impossible or a nightmare slog to get jobs in government and at think-tanks are having a LOT of feelings about wing-nut welfare for evil little white boys who are dumber than a pig’s taint

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said Wednesday that four U.S. soldiers who went missing while training in Lithuania have died, but that he did not yet know the details.

A U.S. official would say only that the four soldiers were involved in a training accident.

Without a doubt, one of the wildest stories ever. A little over a week ago, the national-security adviser inadvertently added @jeffreygoldberg.bsky.social to a group chat with the VP and others to plan an attack on the Houthis.

U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

After Armed Forces Brewing abruptly announced the closure of its brewery in troop-friendly Norfolk VA last week, its CEO blamed "the local woke mob." As I wrote this week @vinepair.com, this wasn’t an unprovoked battle, and when you're running a taproom, winning hearts & minds is part of the job.
