*sigh* man I don’t know, Twitter just really encouraged an environment where people said shit that was always insane of course, but more often than not pretty inspired and profound. don’t really get that sense here, sort of feels like linkedin after business hours.

Okay I have to push back here. These people might be desperate for belief, whatever, but this proliferated because the tech industry has run out of growth markets. The "cult" is desperation and guys that don't know anything trying to see greatness in mediocrity
