It's time to switch to Lemmy. It's like Reddit but a lot better. It has multiple servers so it's not controlled by a corporation. Visit join-lemmy.org and sign up!

I think they’re building to support that in the future with decentralization but I don’t think anything is available right now. There is Lemmy for ActivityPub though: https://join-lemmy.org/

Lemmy does not bow down to Elon Musk! Switch to Lemmy and stop using a Musk compromised platform. Reddit CEO Steve Huffman is a billionaire asshole and good friends with Elon Musk.

It's called the #fediverse...

joinmastodon.org

pixelfed.org/servers

join-lemmy.org

dir.friendica.social/servers

All of those "appear" like platforms already in use, however, they all interact with each other.

That's why Lemmy is getting traction. Unlike Reddit it's decentralized, so if the owner of one instance (=server) starts doing shit, one can just move to another instance and still participate. join-lemmy.org/instances

Lemmy[1] is the decentralized reddit alternative. Mastodon was also meant to be a twitter alternative but it's mostly used by people in tech because it's less polished

If you're unfamiliar with Lemmy, start here:

join-lemmy.org

If you decide it's for you, I recommend clicking the "See all servers" button, and choosing a server outside of the US.

Or, you can always just host your own server.
