It's understandable that you're feeling squeezed and poorer than you used to, but the folks poorer than you are victims of the same squeeze, not the cause of your problems. Don't blame them!

You do realize that a lot of SNAP recipients are full-time workers, right? A higher minimum wage and an end to wage suppression would turn most of these recipients into funders of these programs

Perhaps the saddest irony, to me, is that the folks campaigning on a 'make America great again' promise are also the ones responsible for its decline; their only trick is to get actually suffering people angry at someone else based on lies.
