Putting on my social scientist hat, the rally in Boston today reminded me of the continuing strength of US civil society. It was cosponsored by over 100 groups, including the ACLU, Urban League, churches and synagogues, and labor unions. It was extremely well planned and organized.

It makes me sad that ppl are afraid of an autism diagnosis when the diagnosis itself doesn't change who a person is, and actually makes a person who struggles with communication better able to communicate because it gives them words to explain their needs.

The is no limit to how much brutality the Trump admin is willing to allow Russia to get away with. They have never once condemned a single atrocity committed by Putin. Trump played golf while this happened and didn’t say a word about it.

I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff
