I love Strange New Worlds and how unapologetically wacky and heartfelt it is. Grateful we're getting 2 more seasons, but I wish they did more than 10-episode seasons.

Lately, when I finish a book I love, I'm compelled to search if the author is problematic before singing its praises. I should be doing this before I buy/read the book. Because I continue to be let down by problematic authors. 😞 Can we separate art from artists? Prbly not. No.

I'm curious if Serena's pitiful redemption arc was outlined from the start. IMO it wasn't enough. Her actions were always self-serving. Everything she did was to save herself. She didn't do enough to become redeemable or deserve forgiveness. #thehandmaidstale (and don't even talk about Aunt Lydia 🙄)
