Uh. I woke up to about 200 more followers than I had when I went to bed. So. Hello.
I should add, I talk a lot about romance novels. And my favorite movies are The Sound of Music and While You Were Sleeping.

Final audio book of the year, this one was a reread and I loved it just as much (book 1 was good but book 2 is the clear standout and books 3 & 4 are very very good). But now, I long for Whip's story even more and since KC looks to be making a return to writing, I hope that book is on the horizon.

So much tragedy in this one family. My heart aches for her loved ones, her young children, and especially for her mother who has endured the loss of both her parents, her only sibling, and now, her daughter.

I have been telling my spouse for YEARS that he should watch Stranger Things. He started watching it over Thanksgiving and I said “You’re finally watching it?!” He replied “yes, I wish I’d known about it earlier.” All this to say internet strangers can try but no one can troll me better than him.

I have managed to get through the holidays relatively unscathed and rewarded myself by buying myself lots of cute colorful pens for my 2026 book planner/journal. Because if there’s one thing I’m gonna do, it’s buy pens and notebooks.

This was a reread and I haven’t had much time to read in the past week which is why this took so long to finish on audio but it was really really good.

It’s my birthday today. I am 46. My spouse got up with the dogs (at 5:45 am) and declined my help even though it’s raining. “Stay in bed,” he insisted. (Lest you all think he did this for my bday, he actually just does this regardless).
