Learning to drive after the amygdala has fully formed requires you to routinely gaslight yourself into pretending this isn't the most insane and dangerous practice we do daily. How do people let their kids behind the wheel of a car, but somehow are shocked that I was taking the subway at 14.

I'm forever hoping I'll be able to be a first time home buyer in my family. But these real estate apps need a search section for homes with real wood floors. Cause the shoddy flip jobs for older apt buildings hurts my soul. Why would u put vinyl over parquet?!

While I knew I had no hope of receiving social security despite paying into it since I was 14 I am now having to figure how the hell we are supposed to support my parents depending on theirs in case it all gets pulled.

I’ve literally put in 250 job applications last year. I had THREE interviews. The only job I got was a seasonal receptionist position. Since the start of the new year, I’ve put in 30 and have only had one interview that went nowhere.
