I like trains.
Have been here. Town Line is unincorporated, but unofficially voted to secede from the Union during the Civil War. During the 1940's a referendum was held as a publicity stunt to rejoin the Union.

The Epstein emails didn't expose a nostalgic "lost New York" so much as the utter moral rot of a U.S. ruling patriarchy that could never get enough money...or teenaged girls

My new column on the midnight of elites, how #MeToo didn't go far enough...and pitchforks www.inquirer.com/opinion/epst...
Epstein’s emails are the end of America as they ruined it
If the evil banality of the world's most powerful people exposed in the Epstein emails doesn't cause a revolution, nothing will.

Our season finale is about the vital role public media plays in the lives of many Americans, how the Trump Administration’s budget cuts could impact those Americans directly, and one small way we’re trying to make a difference. And yes, of course, there is a bidet involved.

NOT DISCUSSED NEARLY ENOUGH THIS WEEK:

Trump’s all over the Epstein files so he’s having Venezuelans killed as a distraction. Because of these crimes against humanity, a 4-star Admiral resigned and the British, the Dutch, and the Colombians are no longer sharing intel with the USA.

Here's a list of where it is acceptable to put AI:

Did you notice what was not on the list? Toys.
Non-industry compromised scientists keep saying these models don't become safe, no matter what, but people keep thinking just because the concept of guardrails is mentioned it must work. By definition, it doesn't. This is not something open to discussion, unless you're a paid shill.
"Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o model by default...tests repeatedly showed that the AI toy dropped its guardrails the longer a conversation went on, until hitting rock bottom on incredibly disturbing topics."

The AI bubble may be about to bust.

Peter Thiel has sold all of his Nvidia stock.

We all need to say this very clearly:

NO BAILOUTS FOR THEFT-TECH!

Expropriate their asses instead.

They stole from all of us and fully plan to burn the planet.

They owe us - not the other way around. 1/3

Brexit had reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, with the impact accumulating gradually over time.

Investment was reduced by between 12% and 18%, employment by 3% to 4% and productivity by 3% to 4%.

Staggering economic self-harm.

The present concept of AI is fraud. It isn't the machine learning neural-networks once envisioned. Just a fucking database of curated opinions of whomever owns the database.

I worked hard, with love, 52hr+ weekly, most lunches working, for 3 years. I was 20-30% underpaid vs market (“the culture” makes up for this?), got burnout with panic attacks, and when faced with exiting was told I’d be replaced in a few weeks and would not leave an impact. You come first, not them.
happy sunday, remember that you are completely expendable to your employer and that when you die they will forget you ever existed within weeks and easily replace you
