As ICE continues to terrorize our communities, kidnapping our neighbors, 9 cyclists came together this morning at 6am to buyout 5 vendors and donate the food to a local shelter. They went home safe, hungry ppl were fed, this is #BikeChi ✊🏽

If the shooter had killed a leftist podcaster, he would have a multi million dollar Go Fund Me to cover his legal fees tomorrow, and an interview lined up with Charlie Kirk.

This detour significanly defreases my saftey on my new commute.
Please write to Ald. Scott Waguespack and CDOT encouraging them to phase the construction of the bridge so that half can remain open to pedestrains and cyclists and/or to add a temporary protected bike lane on North and Fulerton.

Happy to announce that after 2 years of an unfortunately located job I had to drive to, I've gotten a new job I can bike to. The entirety of the 606 will be part of my daily commute.

People want to treat the Lincoln Yards area as a transit desert when it actually has much better rail access today than much of the city. There are multiple stops served by multiple lines within a half mile, they're just in need of more pleasant pedestrian connections than what exists today.

Biked all day today. It was very joyous.
I took lots of film photos, went to a job interview, and transported my cat to the vet.

First they came for the Latinos, but I did not speak out - because I am a White Basque.
J.k. I'm speaking the fuck up.
The only good fascist is a dead one.
If they get to say it about Latinos then I definitely get to say it about them and their shitty racist ideology.
The entire Latino population in the U.S. is 65 million. She means all of us.

best part of the chicago protest was hands-down this L train driver showing us support while we marched under the tracks

While I respect people who choose to conceal their identity at protests for their own safety. I am choosing not to as I feel having my identity public is an important part of fully exercising my first amendment rights.

Getting a camera to spy on my cat while I am at work has been great.
Happy to learn she does actually use the window mount Catio I lovingly built for her, just not when I'm home as she'd rather sit on me when I'm home.

Men will literally go to AI therapy instead of going to therapy.

Many AI products claim to deliver mental health therapy, but with little quality control. But new research suggests with the right training, AI can be effective at helping people.

Making a playlist called "Bands with names to roll your eyes along to". So far I've got:
- Car Seat Headrest
- Neutral Milk Hotel
- Broomheads Jacket
Reply with any recommendations. Specifically I'm looking for names with ~3 seemingly random words.

So cool that the two things I ever used my Google phone's voice assistant for (starting a timer and starting navigation when my hands aren't free) now instead give me generative AI nonsense instead of doing the thing I asked it to and it used to be capable of doing.
