Father of two, enjoy videogames when I get the time. First home computer was a Sinclair Spectrum. Made it to Élite on the BBC B.
I guess I can still complete Syndicate with a single agent!

I swear Doom needs end credits, and this needs to be the triumphant theme tune!
I made a joke in my main Discord server about DOOM E1M1 being in a major key and @abigbagofkeys.sickonedude.com actually made it. Jesus fucking Christ listen to this hahahaha

It's been so dark and misty this evening, I couldn't see my dog on the other end of his lead!

We’ve made this investigation free to read because so many people in Sheffield are affected by this story.

Our journalists have been knocking on doors for weeks and we’ve had to employ lawyers because of the legal threats made against us.

We can only do this kind of journalism with your support.
“It broke my heart, that was my savings towards a new car,” one woman who paid Milne tens of thousands of pounds told us. “He has just wiped me out.”

Who is Andrew Milne - the solicitor sending "very aggressive" letters to Sheffield homeowners?

A London lawyer bought hundreds of Sheffield freeholds. Then the ‘very aggressive’ letters arrived
Exclusive: The Tribune can reveal that Andrew Milne has threatened leaseholders with high court action. It ‘broke my heart’ one woman says

They are also intentionally conflating machine-learning and generative AI slop to confuse and try to make GenAI seem necessary. Google Maps traffic stuff is machine learning, not GenAI, for example. Auto-correct is too. Don't let them make you lose the thread. GenAI slop is slop.
the nyt posts this stuff like avoiding AI for 48 hours is hard and meanwhile i have literally never once intentionally used an AI program for anything ever

So, the clocks go... back... tonight. Pretty sure.

How do morning rolls know about the clock change?

It was quite good, but it did take 35 guesses to reach Alan B'Stard, MP for Haltemprice, with the biggest majority in The Commons. So that's 35 billion possibilities...

I don't have my usual dog tonight. I have a Max instead.

Hamish is downstairs, doing downstairs-Hamish things...

I had a dream last night where I was using liquid egg in a 3D printer. I could create wonderful shapes in egg, and the print element would cook it.

Off to the patent office with this one!!

Hamish has had a bath, and I'm not sure he's very happy about it. But he was stinky.

I'm pretty confident it's a whole column.

Such a fantastic remake of a fantastic game!

We're away for the weekend, and Hamish wants something to happen. He's been there for several minutes.

Went to see #TrainspottingLive last night, at the Edinburgh Festival. I didn't really know what to expect when I went in, but it was a brilliant show, with a great cast.

A thoroughly enjoyable way to watch a persistent, unrelenting downward spiral into drug-fueled misery. Highly recommended!

I worked for a Financial Adviser in the past. I did the IT, and I did it very well. I didn't do the financial advice side of things.

That company closed into Administration in February 2012. I received a letter yesterday to say that the liquidation is complete. After 12.5 years. 1/2

You've GOT to be kidding me!

The Conservatives - who oversaw every single thing on this list - are trying to claim that only the Conservatives would "stop the madness" - that they created...?

So incredulity aside, what about the list itself?

Let's go Debunking! 1/34

Spent the day rewiring the electrics in the garden, raising and laying slabs. In a heatwave. I'm a big, sweaty mess. And I'm still waiting for a circuit breaker to finish the job.

It was basically sea water draining from the shower.

So that was a relaxing day off work...

Job well done, though!
