I'm a decent baker, but last night I burnt caramel so bad the fire department showed up, lights a-flashing, in full gear. Apparently I needed to be humbled a little.

I have a mostly healed scab on my knee from camp, and my 2y/o saw it last night, "Mommy owie! Get ice pack!" Then he runs to the freezer and brings me back his little doggy ice pack and puts it on my knee...kids are just the best.

Seriously, my 2 y/o is the biggest hype man. I walk in to get him first thing in the morning, disheveled and in my pajamas, and he just says "Mama so cute!" 😍😍

I'm teaching a really informal first aid class on Saturday to students. We're in the PNW, so covering bleeding, warmth, basic neuro, stroke signs (if time allows), and OD. I even bought some narcan to give to the leaders. What else am I missing? Think like, 20 minutes to give this talk....
