It’s astounding how shit the Civ7 UI is. I’m a causal Civ fan, haven’t played 6 in a while, but went back to it just to get a feel for what good UI design is, and I just… How?… I want to know what’s been going on behind the scenes because I’ve never experienced UI this shit (from a big dev anyway)

I can't wait to see what great games those smart hard working CEOs come up with and program/do art for/playtest/etc. after they finish laying off literally everyone at their companies that does the actual work. Surely this is a smart sustainable system that can keep going forever with no ill effects
